You know what I realized? Kym would absolutely be the type to just slap on random middle names for William to make him sound like the most ostentatious sounding bastard ever. Like you're telling Kym the Precinct Prince is just called William Hawkes? No, there has to be more to it. Lauren gets a kick out of it every time and Kieran learns to play into it just to help the girls get a rise out of Will. Like imagine the following conversation:

Kieran, discreetly passing Lauren a file: Please excuse me if I overstep but does Kym usually turn in her paperwork late? I feel like every time I come into the office, you're constantly telling her to work on it. Lauren, clearly the one who told Kieran to ask that: Oh, don't get him started now. Kym: Oi, what's that supposed to mean? William: Well, it's not that she turns it in late, it's that she gets it in at the last minute. Always flying by the seat of her pants. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I had to stall on her behalf! Honestly though, it's a miracle that Hermann hasn't caught on. Kym: William Andrew Ronan Hawkes, that's a fucking lie and you know it! Will: You're out here making up fake middle names for me, but I'm the liar here? How are you even coming up with these names to begin with? Kym: By looking at your birth certificate, duh. Will: You wish. But you know who has? Lauren. And she can tell you right now that Andrew Ronan is not on my birth certificate. Right, Lauren? Lauren: Right! If I remember correctly it just said William Skyler Devin Hawkes.

Kieran and Kym are at this point looking at each other and are this ->||<- close to losing it while William is pinching the bridge of his nose.

Will: I- Seriously? You too? Kym: Boo, William Andrew Ronan Hawkes sounds way better. Will, shaking his head: Saying it again won't make it any less fake, Sergeant.

A little comparison just for fun because I'm sleepy as fuck but can't sleep. Wish me luck guys I need it tomorrow

On phone, with fingers:

On iPad with apple pencil (the standard issue one. I guess?)

On laptop, with One by Wacom:

I guess it's not really a fair comparison because over the years I moved away from phone and towards pen tablet—so my art has improved over time too. And that one time I used iPad I borrowed it from a friend because I didn't have One back then... And I just needed a tablet. Of any kind, really. And I'll never buy anything from Apple if I can help it so there's that too...

One good thing about drawing with fingers is that I drew while waiting for food at diners. Which is a lot of the time... Can't draw at diners if I'm using a laptop and a pen tablet. I'm only comfortable in my bed lol. But at this point, unless I'm literally drawing in class because the lecture's mind-numbing as fuck... I don't really prefer phone anymore. Took a long time to get used to pen tablet but I like it now. I'll surely have better control in traditional and I do believe I draw much better traditional.

But digital is the only medium I can do colours in. I suck at colours in traditional so... I'll take digital.
